Lois S.

I was diagnosed with MS in August 2004.  I had lost 90% of the vision in my right eye.  The neurologist told me that I could regain some of the vision, but that it would never be normal again.  He told me that there was nothing that I could do-no diet, no alternative treatments that would help me.  All I could do was to take the shots (Copaxone) that could reduce the chance of “attacks” by 30%, see him every 6 months, and hope for the best.  After the loss of vision I began to have other symptoms-numbness & tingling in hands and feet, plus fatigue.

Even though my neurologist said there was nothing I could do, I began to do my own research.  I learned that gluten, dairy and processed sugar could be problems in MS-I was not eating processed sugar, but I eliminated gluten and dairy and began to feel better.  I continued to research and was advised by a naturopathic physician that the mercury in my fillings should be removed-he told me that mercury attacks the nervous system and MS is a nervous system disorder.  I had about 8 fillings.  My husband and I discussed it and we decided that having the mercury removed certainly wouldn’t hurt me, and there was the possibility that it could help me-and that was worth trying.

Two weeks after my last appointment, my symptoms began to disappear.  I am still taking chlorella to detox heavy metals, but all of my MS symptoms have gone and my vision is normal.  I am very thankful to God for His faithfulness and to Dr. Dahl for his wonderful work to help people get the metal out.

P.S.  I discontinued the Copaxone after 6 months even though the neurologist told me that he would not follow me if I was not on the medication-I have not needed a neurologist since then.
